Our client is a well funded luxury skincare start up based in Los Angeles, California.  They are seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to work with their Brand & Marketing Advisor – CMO. This role is a hybrid schedule so we will only be looking at talent within LA.

The Marketing Manager will support the sales, operations, and marketing leaders with a careful focus on the entire marketing lifecycle – From planning and executing campaigns to analyzing the ROI and tracking the budget.   We are looking for a highly collaborative team player with strong insights and experience in the consumer luxury market, high-level design, and know the marketing tools we use like the back of your hand.

You will participate in various projects, from developing internal systems and internal creative asset management to running reports and helping analyze data to executing 360 marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors.
• Manage company and product branding initiatives and standards
• Strategy development and planning of campaigns that can promote the business and generate genuine traffic (both offline and online)
• Implement and Oversee all the individual aspects of marketing campaigns, from ideation to final analysis and refinement
• Lead and manage both outbound and inbound marketing initiatives, analytics, and automation
• Evaluate and report on the performance of marketing campaigns
• Managing budgets for marketing resources
• Communication of marketing strategies to the rest of the company
• Building sustainable relationships and partnerships with other key players such asvendors, advertising agencies, and creative artists as per the need
• Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure projects are delivered to specifications and high standards – on time and on budget.
• Provide reporting for sales and marketing meetings and provide feedback
• Collaborate on marketing to sales process: timeline, copy checks, and team feedback to ensure that marketing elements are delivered on time.
• Manage Creative Asset development – product photos, video shoots, blog, printed materials & participate in the artwork proofing process.
• Execute Email Program, including testing of email content as provided by marketing,sales, and education, reporting on results, tracking data, and helping to analyze data for improvement.
• Coordinate the integration of CRM, Marketing, and Sales tools
• Organizing third-party providers and vendors to deliver elements that can't be produced in-house
• Assist in developing presentation decks for leadership, investors, and agency partners

• Proven leadership and communication skills

• Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage deadlines with speed and accuracy; must be detail-oriented.
• A possessor of an “eagle eye” when it comes to reviewing numbers, messaging, and proofing
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some early mornings or evenings – we have team members in several time zones.
• Collaborative, inquisitive, and excellent at finding creative solutions with the team

Qualification:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
• Minimum of five years of tactical and strategic marketing and brand management experience in prestige skincare, makeup, fashion, or wellness
• A comprehensive understanding of search engine optimization and website UI principles
• Strong copywriting and communication skills
• Expertise with Adobe Suite Products (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator)
• Background of effective management of key social media channels
• Understanding of content management systems, including WordPress
• Proficiency in Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics
• Experience in effective use of email marketing software (Klayvio or other) Excellent MSoffice suite capabilities
• Solid understanding of graphic design and UI best practices
• Track record of successful new product launches
