Overview:
Must have experience in construction law. Candidates with experience in defending residential construction defect cases in civil complex actions will be given highest consideration. The firm offers hands-on experience with matters from day one and a team of partners, senior associates and paralegals to support you in a collaborative work environment. The firm also offers the opportunity to practice in and/or learn one or more of the other areas in which the firm practices, including business litigation, real estate and more.
Responsibilities:
Handling litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision, including discovery, site inspections, issue analysis, depositions, expert retention, expert discovery and settlement.
* Independent handling of court appearances, depositions and hearings.
* Working collaboratively with a team to accomplish other client and firm objectives.
Qualifications:
* Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience representing clients for a minimum of two years
* Current, active membership California bar association is required
