- Develop detailed technical specifications for sleepwear and intimates designs.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate creative concepts into practical, manufactural garments.
- Conduct fittings and provide feedback on fit, construction, and functionality. Create and adjust patterns for sleepwear and intimates, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Work closely with patternmakers to refine and optimize patterns for production.
- Research and source suitable fabrics and trims for sleepwear and intimates designs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and performance of materials meet brand standards.
- Establish and enforce quality standards throughout the production process.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify and address potential issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and merchandising, to ensure seamless communication and execution of designs.
- Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to address technical challenges and resolve issues.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and innovations in sleepwear and intimates design.
- Implement best practices and integrate new technologies into the design and production processes.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Designer in sleepwear and intimates.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field.
- Proficient in pattern making and garment construction for sleepwear and intimates.
- Strong knowledge of fabric properties, fit, and garment manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to identify and solve technical challenges related to sleepwear and intimates design and production.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all technical aspects of design.
- Proficient in relevant design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Gerber, or similar tools.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving work environments.
