Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative graphic designs for Juniors apparel, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetic and current fashion trends.
- Collaborate closely with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure the successful execution of artwork from concept through to production.
- Ensure precise placement of artwork on garments, optimizing design for various fabric types and garment styles.
- Prepare artwork for production by managing technical aspects such as file formats, color modes, resolution, and printing processes.
- Work directly with printers, manufacturers, and digital production teams to ensure flawless execution of designs.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in graphic design, particularly in Juniors and Women’s apparel, to keep designs fresh and relevant.
- Utilize graphic software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools to create mockups, tech packs, and production-ready files.
- Recommend and utilize CLO3D where applicable to enhance visualization and streamline the design-to-production process.
- Review and approve samples, ensuring that final products meet design, quality, and brand standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design for Juniors or Women’s apparel (Juniors experience highly preferred).
- Strong graphic and CAD skills, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools.
- Experience with CLO3D software is highly recommended but not required.
- Expertise in artwork placement and an understanding of the technical aspects of file formats, color modes, resolution, and printing techniques.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners such as printers and manufacturers.
- Ability to create visually compelling designs and handle the technical preparation needed for production.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
