ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will work with key stakeholders to create and deliver omnichannel innovation plans from concept to commercialization, leading consumer-first, scalable and globally relevant 360° GTM Toolkits that allow the brand to outperform. You will lead your respective categories’ development of 3-5+ year consumer-centric innovation, distortion and renovation strategy and pipeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Product Strategy 

  • Support the 3-year rolling product launch calendar and the rollout of the Global Go-To-Market Toolkits across for the fragrance category, delivering innovative launches, current product optimizations and reanimations, sampling, promotions and kits/sets in partnership with Promotional Manager  

  • Own the 3-year rolling product launch calendar and the rollout of the Global Go-To-Market Toolkits across for the fragrance category, delivering innovative launches, current product optimizations and reanimations, sampling, promotions and kits/sets in partnership with Promotional Manager  

  • Working with Executive Director & Senior Manager to manage cost and margin targets to meet financial objectives of the brand and category, assisting in setting COG & margin targets by category and adjusting MOB targets to reach gross margin targets

  • Ownership of sustainability as it relates to product (i.e. vetting ingredients and packaging, key messaging on all marketing channels)

  • Deliver innovation concepts that drive breakout growth based on gap analysis, performance reporting and consumer-focused data from internal and external sources (CMI reports, regional and retailer consumer reports, “In the Kitchen” sessions with retailers)

  • Ensure fragrance category strategy is communicated and understood by all stakeholders and cross functional teams

  • Drive ongoing analysis of category and SKU productivity resulting in recommendations for SKU resupport, pivots, or discontinuation

Product Marketing & Go To Market 

  • Develop category and product Global Go To Market Toolkit that drives ownable point of difference and positioningincluding communication hierarchy, product page copy, features and benefits (functional, technical and emotional), reason to believe, clinical & consumer claims, education priorities and competitive positioning

  • With Commercial stakeholders, define global channel product marketing needs and ensure Global Go To Market Toolkit meets these needs, including ongoing support and regional asset compliance

  • Partner with the Global Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement team to build effective marketing support frameworks

  • Manage and optimize performance of new products once in the market, updating messaging playbook and marketing pivots, distributing to cross-functional teams as needed

  • Manage creation of Product Marketing and Packaging copy briefs for new product launches

  • Work with R&D and Regulatory to recommend desired product claims for efficacy testing and final claims

  • Prepare final product marketing presentations that include the product features, benefits, claims, ingredients, price, sizes and packaging to support Marketing, Education, Sales, Customer Service and

  • Support Commercial and Consumer teams in executing product playbook for 360 go-to-market strategy activations, ensuring messaging consistency and accuracy

  • With cross functional team input, track and analyze product launches for key consumer and market learnings 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

  • 5+ years of current experience in global marketing in the beauty & fragrance sector

  • 2+ year of experience in the Fragrance category is preferred

  • Potent blend of strategic, creative, and analytic skills

  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail & organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter with a trend-hunting mindset

  • Positive attitude

  • Experience managing & developing direct report(s)
