Job Title: Freelance Digital Designer
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-4 months
Location: NYC Hybrid
Hourly Rate: $35/hr- $40/hr Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining seasonal refreshes of our websites, adhering to existing design templates and brand guidelines
  • Assist in the creation of content for seasonal shops based on trends, themes and occasions
  • Adapt seasonal creative for tablet and mobile devices
  • Create versions of online marketing, adhering to existing guidelines
  • Ensure all designs work across all browsers and on all devices
  • Design email marketing campaigns using existing templates and help explore new templates throughout the season
  • Ensure consistent creative through the line across digital channels
  • Produce designs and graphics for email blasts and digital ads
  • Research current trends and creative in digital marketing
  • Partner with the social/editorial team to design assets for our various social media platforms.
  • Assist with the execution of print assets, both internal and external facing.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Experience with video and animation a big plus.
  • Must have an excellent eye for design and typography
  • Attentive to small details and meticulous in execution
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of trends in web design and the digital space with the ability to discern applicable relevancies to our brand
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize own workload, and work independently when required
  • Capacity to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment and flexible to business' needs
  • Be able to clearly execute creative direction, bring new ideas to the team, and thrive in a highly collaborative environment
  • Love for fashion, eye for email design, and an active standing in social media are a plus
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design preferred
