Job Title: Freelance Creative Project Manager 
Location: Remote (MUST be located in PST)
Industry: Agency 
Salary/Hourly: $50/hr 

Hourly range is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.

Our award-winning creative agency client is looking to add to their team with a project-based freelance Creative Project Manager. If you have experience working on high volumes of deliverables, managing content for events, and are highly skilled at creating and managing Gantt charts, this might be the perfect job for you! 

Responsbilities:

  • Manage the creative development and delivery of all event/project assets, assist in the delivery process, and facilitate review meetings for creative executions
  • Drive design content project timelines and ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Partner with producers and creative teams to define the scope of work
  • Define clear project goals and objectives in consultation with the creative team
  • Be responsible for resource management to ensure appropriate staffing plans are in followed Be responsible for communicating project status, timeline updates, changes on scope and potential risks
  • Develop and maintain the project plan, including budget breakdown, timelines (gantt charts), review cycles grid, risk plan and communication plan
  • Request and ensure the creative team has access to asset specifications, artwork, brand guides and timelines

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing event content design for virtual, live and hybrid events
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing creative staff and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of project management best practices and tools used to manage content for events (prefer: PMI knowledge)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment trafficking high volumes of work
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to keep projects organized, prioritized and on track
  • Skilled at using Gantt chart applications, either Microsoft project, Omni or Fasttrack Experience using Smartsheet
