Location: Los Angeles, Ca, New York, NY, or Moorestown, NJ (hybrid)

Salary: 100,000-110,000
*Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC


Here’s what you will do here 

  • Define, implement, and execute email marketing strategy to drive business results as measured by ROI analysis and KPI goals
  • You’ll actively contribute to the Retention and repeat purchase strategy to improve LTV, increase AOV and drive overall revenue improvement.
  • You'll be responsible for the creation and implementation of everything email, SMS, and other direct customer communications, with a strong focus on creating channel-specific strategies (brand email, trigger email, SMS, CRM segmentation)
  • Taking full ownership of the campaigns you create while ensuring the communication meets standards.
  • Creating and analyzing the results of all our direct brand sends, including daily and weekly emails and regular email and trigger flows to various segments
  • Maintaining and testing new one-off emails and flows to leads, active and inactive customer file segments.
  • Monitoring the campaign performance (incl. deliverability)
  • AB test strategy to constantly improve KPI’s and Retention working closely with our CRM platform to create audience specific strategies and KPIs.
  • Liaise with creative team on strategy and creative asset development for all emails
  • Partner with Marketing team on Email and SMS calendar and strategy
  • Oversee SMS marketing strategy, including scheduling, execution, and growth of the program
  • Manage outside agencies to devise key strategies to support brand/retail goals, ensure KPI metrics are achieved and promoted according to brand standards
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance, providing recommendations and data to brand teams and management
  • Ensure all campaigns are optimized and tested to achieve the best results
  • Manage and oversee email campaign scheduling & deployment
  • Research and stay ahead of best practices, digital innovation, strategies, and industry standards, exploring new email marketing opportunities and formulating proposals for how they can be leveraged
  • Stay abreast of competitive behaviors and trends

You’re going to need this to carry out this job 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing
  • Experience in Shopify & Klaviyo preferred
  • Experience with email/content creation and analytics
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and creative direction
  • Entrepreneurial spirit & true interest in digital marketing
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in rest of Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Strong writing & communication skills
  • Collaborative, team player, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Metric driven, logical, creative, and curious
  • Strong project management & organizational skills
  • Ready to learn, grow, multi-task, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
