We are seeking a Head of Sales for North America for our client in New York , NY.  The  role is newly created and will be responisble for managing  the team  and develop next level ideals with the leaders.

In this role, it is ideal that you are familiar with skincare and ready to support  all members of the sales team in office and in field  are well supporting  the teams efforts to achieve and exceed sales plans and objectives through relationship building, staffing, training, and creative sales initiatives. You will work with leadership to  ensure brand identity and point of view is clearly reflected and develop new partnerships and programs

Sales Leadership
Set up initiatives to support the team to achieve/exceed sales targets in each account through:
-Exceeding personal and team daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
-Managing the planning and execution of events that represent Peter Thomas Roth Skincare initiatives and sales priorities and generate volume in accordance with retail store standards
-Identifying additional visual opportunities within stores and markets to maximize presentation to maximize sales
 -Ensure sales potential is meet through collaborative inventory management within stores and the NY office team.

Relationship Building and Development

-Helping create, strengthen and reinforce relationships with District Leadership members, Store Leadership teams, and key sales personnel in each account and area to lead to additional sales and brand opportunities
-Building effective and charismatic relationships with leadership and sales teams in each retail environment
-Work closely with your  Regional Sales Mgr. to identify and share best practices across markets as well as identify additional field team needs (ie collateral, reporting, training materials, etc).
-Identify key influencers within stores/markets to help ensure Peter Thomas Roth Clinical Skin Care products are “top of mind” and shown to clients/customers appropriately.
-Create and foster effective working relationships within our NY office team.
-Reinforce idea sharing and professional relationships within your team of direct reports as well as the entire PTR family.


-Provide a mentoring platform for Selling Specialists on your Team ensuring support, guidance, and innovative ideas to support sell thru
-Ensure sales teams in each environment understand and can explain Peter Thomas Roth products and points of difference through:
              -Planning and executing charismatic trainings in accordance with the retailers training guidelines
              -Working with appropriate parties on launch trainings and cluster trainings where possible
– Effective planning to ensure sales teams are educated on new launch before they are available for sale to generate strong sales at launch
-Work with appropriate NY corporate team to create customized trainings to meet individual account needs and the trainee’s skill level
-Working with the Regional Sales and Education Mgr. of Retail Sales on identifying, recruiting and hiring team members to meet and exceed sales targets and build stronger presence in key markets/doors
-Establish clear communication, goals and expectations to your Selling Specialists
-Regularly reviewing sales from Sales Specialist to encourage strong performance, coach and counsel to improve poor performance, make personnel changes as necessary by results
-Ensure projects, as assigned by NY, are executed well, thoughtfully and in a timely manner, both personally and with your team.

Operational and Process Management
Optimize sales, profitability and company objectives through the following:
-Ensuring payroll spend is in line with payroll allocation. Work with your Regional to identify areas of opportunity for additional payroll spend to maximize opportunities.
-Maximizing payroll spend by assisting and verifying Planning schedule in accordance with account priorities and leveraging sales opportunities.
-Communicating effectively and consistently both verbally and through written communication to internal Peter Thomas Roth partners, identifying opportunities, successes and needed tools and supplies to generate sales volume

Additional Job Requirements
– Position requires the ability to work in Specialty Retailers and travel in his/her designated territory.
– Immediate Territory – NC, SC, FL,
-Percentage of travel to be determined by needs of the markets.  Markets may be reassigned at any time based on account growth and overall needs of the business
-This position is an in Field, hands on position; any admin work, which results from working from home, must have your direct reports approval. May be additional Admin projects, on your work from home day.
-Must have computer proficiency including e-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Needs to have the ability to set up and transport collateral as necessary up to 30 pounds including event visual collateral, product for trainings, etc
-Reflect brand image and branding standards through adherence to company dress code and incorporate branded clothing and accessories as directed

College Degree preferred or work experience in beauty field.
Experience working with Sephora/Ulta/ BM a plus
Experience in working with MS Word, and Excel
 Excellent leadership qualities, Analytical, strategic decision-making and management skills, verbal and written communications skills, timely reporting, organized; detail oriented, multi tasker, ability to travel up to 50%
