Title: Director of Athlete Marketing
Location: New York (Hybrid | 2 Days on Site | Only local candidates can be considered )
Duration: Full-time
Salary: $90-100k*

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Athlete Marketing to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the the league's roster of world class athletes. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to enhance the visibility and marketability of organization's athletes

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create athlete-specific marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email marketing, content marketing, etc.)

• Build and maintain strong relationships with organization's athletes and their management teams to identify opportunities for increased exposure

• Develop and manage athlete marketing activations

• Track and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of athlete marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure the marketing strategy remains cutting-edge and competitive

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in athlete marketing, sports marketing, or a related field

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform marketing strategies

• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box

• Passion for combat sports and a deep understanding of MMA athlete culture
